I've been messing with group pages on Netvibes for a while now and it seems now everybody has moved over to ginger they are working fine.
I started by adding some of my personal feeds and personal favorites into the page and moving them into categories, this makes it easy to use the add to my personal page option and also a great starting point for anybody who hasn't joined netvibes yet.
